A question about featuring a trade listing

Hi

I see a new button 'Request to Feature'

Anyone know how to use this?   Do you pay and then they Implement your feature suggestion.  

Think be great to have a SOLD button that you can push that would automatically update the status.   

If I pay the fee will this be Implemented?

I have actually paid for custom development work and we actually had that feature in the past. I think compatibility may have broken on a forum software update. 

The problem with all of the custom applications / plugins is not only the initial development work but the maintenance costs, the software TSF uses is regularly updates and on many of the updates the applications and plugins also need to be reviewed by the developer and upgraded. We have also ran into issues where a previous developer is no longer available for work, so a new developer needs to take over the project which means a lot of hours of reading the code and getting to know how it is all structures as they didn't write it initially, of course we are paying them hourly to do so

Even with the paid to feature listing feature, which may bring additional revenue for TSF, because of the cost of initial development work it may take half a year or so to even break even on that, depending on if it has a high % of max filled slots or not. 

Let me check on the button 'mark as sold' as it may be functional somewhere or need minimal development work.

Half a year for break even AKA doubling your money in the 1st year, wish silver would do that 😏😁

So looks like there are two conflicting plugins. Once which was previously designed with a 'mark as sold' button and the other was for Moderator/Administrator use to help change the prefixes on topics (including in other sections of the forum) They seem to be clashing. 

Modifying the one which was originally designed for Moderator/Admin use, can enable it so that members can easily mark their own topics. Though I am not 100% sure if it is working completely. But if it does the drop down should look like the below:

Thanks, please let me know if stops working for any reason. 

I can confirm the @TestMember8 is a testing account when we need to login from a different member group  I've hidden that topic now.
