You got some beauties there at great prices. Congratulations 🎉

Quite exciting following a Dutch auction :)

Yeah I enjoyed it. Congratulations @SlowFrog

If I could do it over I'd still fek it up.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Thank you, Paul! I don't usually do graded coins but this seemed like a good opportunity for me to eventually work my way towards the full collection :)

Cheers, James! You're always a good sport and for what it's worth - it wasn't to spite you!

Genuinely just felt like £570 was a really fair price and as I just said to Paul, a good chance to start off a new collection.

When you look a new 1/4 direct from mint Is £800 now

youve grabbed great value taking them all.

If you put them all into a CC or COTR auction there would probably be profit for you already

if you're not in a hurry

Give it five years there'll be gaps folk need to fill. Only takes two folk who are keen and need that 'one' to complete the series

Solid buy today IMO 10/10 👍

Always buy 'best value' for your budget.

There's bargains to be had every week

Here, bookface groups, dealer email offers, eBay rarely, personal offers

Keep buying best value you'll end up with a lovely mix of gold you know have never paid over the odds for

Whilst it's personally satisfying filling a date run or complete a series.

The secondary market when selling don't appreciate any of the efforts that you do to complete it.

Or by and large are they prepared to pay an extra premium to buy a complete perfect series fresh out the box with no effort.

Nope, they want the gaps in their own series they miss at usual cheap as poss prices

Best value and grabbing bargains or unloved bits is a solid way not to lose cash but still enjoy the hobby with potential upside
