Looking for London dealers who would accept cash 🙏

There's also sellers on here outside your postcode that have problem accepting cash. Just so your not tied to one location.

You post the cash to them then they forward item to you.

Most of them have either stopped accepting cash or charge you for paying in cash. Excuse my language but it is a complete f @@ 'y

ATS Bullion and Sharps Pixley are the only dealers I'm aware of that don't charge you for paying in cash but their are limits to the rule.

Yes I don’t understand, cash has and always will be king. It’s a bit different in Europe as cash is more preferred over there.

thank you so much for the info 🙏🙏

ATS is slowly becoming like Bairds. They use to have great prices but now becoming slightly more expensive. If you go in store always ask for a better price paying in cash it can sometimes work. It doesn't work at Sharps though lol

@AsedIqbal edit your title to include ( posting cash to seller too) and then state approximately your budget and items of interest in this post. I'm then sure someone will reach out privately to fill your order!

Obviously do due diligence on their feedback/forum standing before committing to a deal.

I will accept cash when I sell any coins. In fact I prefer it most times.  If you are in North London, tell me what you are after and I will see what I am willing to sell.  Anything I sell on FB will be cash only on pickup.

@Tn21 is also North of the River so will also be someone who could help you.

Having read your message for what you might be after, @GoldShack could be the one to help you.

100g of gold is about £6000.

You can't post that!

@AsedIqbal try and stick to £2500 bundles as that's the RM insurance limit on both cash and bullion. Also bare in mind that each £2500 bundle will cost you approximately £36 in postage costs. £18 to get cash to seller and £18 for seller to get items to you. Although just get the seller to give you a post inclusive price and that negates the second part. Some sellers are more lenient that others.

£6k in used £20's is about the size and weight of an average paperback book, you can post it quite easily.

It’s for money laundering reasons.
I believe it was around £2-5k after that there

is a legal requirement for drivers licence and proof and gets all a little messy.

Money laundering checks kick in at £6k I believe. Places just becoming conditioned and lazy to card payments. That’s the way the card companies like it, they get a percentage charge on the transaction and the price of goods sold must reflect the cost to the retailer….. but that’s for another thread🤓🤓🤓

Im also looking to purchase some gold for cash. Long story but sold a couple big items this year and have been sitting on the cash. Keeping my eye out for people looking to sell a chunk of their stack who also want cash.

Cash is like marmite these days - some people absolutely love it, some won’t touch it with a barge pole!
