Welcome along! 😁 - bit late to the “try and convince me” party, but here’s my tuppence worth…

Ive been a silver member since around the start of 2021, didn’t buy a lot to start with as being self employed (not PM related btw) and only recently starting the business meant most spare cash was been ploughed back in.

I did question the value of the membership a couple of times, as I wasn’t buying a lot so meant I wasn’t seeing the savings over auction sites etc - but I’ve had so much more out of the forum, learnt so much about PMs and even gained an interest in Gold! (always thought I’d only be a Silver stacker).

My stack has become a way to save that stops me just ‘dipping in’ at will - converting back to cash takes some effort, so I’m not tempted to do it for random, snap decision purchases. It’s also become enjoyable to save - something I never thought I’d find myself saying - we can satisfy our need for ‘Retail Therapy’ and have something that’s not only great to look at but still worth what you paid for it, or even a little more!

Discovered the wonderful (if slightly scarily priced 😳) world of Graded coins, absorbed lots of info on Sovereigns of all sizes, designs and vintages and had a proper good chuckle at the antics on the forum as a whole, even within the supposedly serious sales / wants posts!

Now convinced of the value of membership, and hope you become even more convinced as you go 👍

So nice to read some of the great comments here about the forum as a whole and how it has helped different folk in different ways, new and old alike.  Remember WE are all part of making the place what it is. Keeping adding our own value in our own ways

We'll be fine. I hope your lot dont embarrass us all, but you're right, 3rd in the group will be a result then a run in the Europa League. To be fair that's our level.
