I have been thinking of selling 25 half sovereigns one quarter sovereign and two half guineas for a while now so i can just have full sovereigns  but my mother doesn't  want to buy them and shes the only person i trust but if i had my brain removed i could put them on ebay 😨

hi james 32 could you explain mutual trust to me treetop 1280 might be interested as well , I bought and sold cars for 40 years so i know a little bit about mutual trust i hear about people on ebay having their mutual trust broken ive seen married husbands and wives having affairs with mutual trust , ive just read newspaper today policeman in london charged with theft from a dead man of £115 is that mutual trust ? i could go on . when you explain to me could you keep it simple as i had very little education thanks . I cant put the coins on here i dont know anyone probably just go for melt price is high

You say you only trust your mother? That's nice but also very restrictive. Spend some time on here, grab a membership and you'll soon see that there's plenty of trustworthy people to sell to.

its quite simple Baz, you want to sell your gold, someone on here needs to trust you to send it and when you buy you need to trust them to send it

however..........

as you are new, established members may ask you to send first and they pay on receipt of goods...

but.........

There is another way you can do it and its by using the service of others members such as BYB and you send the coin to him, the buyer sends him the money and once both parties have completed this, BYB posts the goods and sends the payment (fees to be paid)

however........

you then need to trust BYB so we are back to the beginning....

Baz, we all have different personalities 😆

But what I have  learned from being here is that I trust these chaps and most of it is their normal banter. I am sure that you have this in your car dealing world.

Maybe selling to Atkinson’s or Chards in this instance may be the easiest and least stressful way for you.

But stick around and see what is happening, look at the selling pages and you will find that the chaps are absolutely genuine.

A paid for membership whether Silver or Platinum might be a good option, because it ever you decide to buy, it will pay for itself very quickly.

With very best wishes in whatever way you choose to proceed.
