It may have been me panic clicking to be  honest, I briefly had the 5 coin set in my basket and then lost all ability to use a computer or follow instructions

Oddly from around 9:30 queue position went from about 2500 to few hundred to in by 9:36.  I suppose the flippers have filled their boots and closed their browers.

Well, 9.37am and I finally got onto the Royal Mint website (still 2,395 in my other queue!).  The sovereign is still available, but I would guess it will sell out this morning.

I had already pre-ordered with a dealer so this was just an experiment - bring on the Gothic release!!!

Well i just bought one of the proofs for myself and one for my youngest daughter.
i was a bit taken aback by the price. This looks like profiteering by the Royal Mint.
