New: Perth Mint Silver Kangaroo

I would have preferred a collectible coin in capsule of a higher quality and changing design like their Koalas and Kookaburras. But cheap bullion in tubes like the salt water croc and funnel web will also do.

Its OK but like MZ I'd have preferred a better quality collectable version, I won't be buying that, I'll stick with the RAM roos both proof & Bu

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

Yay another silver coin for me to waste my money on.....think its time for me to take a break from pm's, feeling heartily sick of them. A few months off for me, spending my money on other things I think.

I think there are just too many coins and series being issued now, much of it total crap.

I got a tube of bullion spiders from STG and when I had a look at them I was most impressed with the quality.

Some of you seem to be saying this Kangaroo looks not high enough quality, or are you talking about the lack of a Proff version, or compared to a different mint?

Just asking.

Personally,it's just pm fatigue.I spend probably between 100-400 a month on pm's and the number of coins available now just seem to be made purely to fleece collectors and stackers of more money. I am beginning to feel like a sucker, so no more for me.

Sorry, old thread I know, but looking at STG I think this is a quality stacking item to purchase by the tube, and a very welcome change from maples and Phils.

Just wanted to speak up for the stackers who buy, and will ultimately sell in bulk.

(My last buy from them was Nov 2014, only picked up 5 oz since then on the Bay, so obviously having withdrawal symptoms)

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

I agree with the comments, I would have preferred a collectable higher quality capsuled coin. Perhaps just use the design for the gold roos and put them on the silver coins. They have already put these designs on the HR coins.

I prefer these over the crocks or sharks though.

My posts are my personal opinions, they do not constitute advice or financial advice.
