I think bullionvault has an offer, something like 25% of the premium for their gold sales if a person who uses the code which the user doing the referring supplies. I'd be happy to split such a profit from that deal 60/40 with anyone who uses my code. I can supply said code on demand 🙂

I know... my 'local' (four miles away) P.O. staff acted like I'd stuck monopoly money on my parcels when they saw my commemorative stamps. Was tempted to buy one of Bobs 10oz coins but its got Charlie boys ugly fizog on it so wait until one of liz’s comes along. Fancy a 10 ouncer for the longer term but not any 10 ouncer, same with the bars.

currently buying for the medium to long term, its striking the balance between not buying to much in case you need to sell quickly for some reason and keeping enough in fiat money for when you need to pay bills.

Rather than profit i think most who buy metals particularly gold are looking to keep their money out of government gaze and protecting an asset.

Good luck with that considering mostly bank transfer is used. 2025 might see a new law, currently in the pipeline, which will allow big bro to see into bank accounts. Slippery slope.

In principle i agree and AI is becoming a bigger threat however there is still the one big flaw with Government … people, human beings.

Government can get it right and  generally will make a big show of it such as the recent jailing of rioters. Under the surface though more often than not the State Civil Service is a flawed bunch of incompetents who want to do as little as possible until the day they draw their gold plated pensions.
