Fake sovereign ring.

Someone I know sent me these pictures of a sovereign ring that he purchased back in 1990 and wanted to know how much it's worth. He got it back in the day when he was 17 and wearing a shell suit around town. I lost count in how many laughing emojis I text him back🤣🤣

He found it in his loft after putting it away many years ago. Probably the worst fake I've seen.

Still, it gave me something to laugh about.

Its worth 9ct value at least if gold though! I remember buying something like this that was gold plated silver from argos when i was 13 and thinking i was the dogs nuts.

Horrific. I've seen similar (though not as vile) in the local pawn shop. Might be worth £200 scrap if it is 9 karat. At least that would get it destroyed...

I tell you what I've never had a cut bleed like it. It was a fashion with a certain type round my way when we were younger. Kappa trackies or Adidas tear-offs, white trainers and the sharpest 'sovereign' rings in the land! It got a bit Jackie Chan-esque that night after that 🤣
