Issues accessing the site via mobile version

Hi,

A member brought to my attention that when accessing the site via the mobile version they are receiving an error message. And I am looking into this.

I just wanted to know if any other members in the 'new member' 'member' or browsing as a 'guest' are experiencing any problems on the mobile site?

Just checked it out as a guest from my android mobile and had no errors.

If any members from the 'member' and 'new member' groups are experiencing a problem please let me know ASAP.

I tested myself from a 'member' account and couldn't experience the problem, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing as if so it needs to be fixed so that all members can access the mobile site freely. May just be a one off that one member was unfortunate enough to experience.

Hi i got problem  om my mobile , have to switch to full version  otherwise can log in  and view posts.

worked fine for me today when i had to message Paul about some coins . It would nice to be able to send photos from my phone in messaging people, maybe it can and i just haven't worked it out how to.

Hi silverroller, Premium members can send attachments in private messages. But you need to either use the desktop site, or the tapatalk app. You can also view the desktop site from a mobile device, though depending on the device this can be a little tricky just need to click the 'full version' button at the bottom. To get back to mobile site press 'change theme' at the bottom left then choose mobile.

Thanks. Shouldn't be any problems with the tapatalk API though, it's a skin related problem on the mobile version of the forum.

It's because you have upgraded your account. Notifications are delivered in a different way to you now, so you won't get that error.

Members, and new members will still get this error on the mobile site. But I have found what the error is now, just working on fixing it for all members for the mobile skin. Should be fixed soon hopefully.

Ah. This was rather complicated to fix.

But should all be fixed now.

Edit: please ignore the above. This isn't fixed yet. I have someone working on it and hopefully can get it fixed asap.

I was getting an error on mobile (Android phone, browsing with Chrome) but all working perfectly today it seems.

@silversword unfortunately It's not fixed yet even if it seems so. Will update when all is working perfectly both from front end and back.

This is finally completed on the backend. There should not be any more issues with any member group accusing the mobile site.
