Silver Bar Information...

Hi Silver Lovers...

I'm a Sovereign collector and know nowt about silver! I'm helping a friend out with these silver bars and any information would be appreciated... As far as I can make out Johnson Matthey vintage bars are quite sought after and the London stamp adds to that along with low serial numbers. Web research seems to show they are more valuable than standard bullion? All the bars are marked, have pour/mould marks and have some degree of ‘patina’ - they aren’t polished! These two and two more also have consecutive serial numbers. They will have been bought shortly after a move to London in the late 60s early 70s.

Any help would be appreciated... and repaid (if you ever need advice on Sovereigns)...

Well at least a discussion about a possible deal!  What do you think may be possible?? 😉

Hi. Not on the 57 Sovereign I have several and two graded, even in a decent MS 65-66 they’re still just a sub £350 coin.
