Are there many types of gold coins from Thailand ?

Has anyone on the Forum got any gold coins from Thailand with pictures ? Its a difficult area to find much information . Are there any books that cover coins from Thailand 🧐

I live in Thailand for almost 3 years now and they have a lot of gold jewlery shops but I have never seen a coin...

I lived in Chang Mai & Hua Hin a few years back like you say lots of jewelry shops but never saw a gold coin while I was living there .

Their treasury issues proof silver and gold coins I think they sell them via the post office. I found it on a Google search in 2016. I got the last silver proof coin of the old king before he passed.

I seem to remember watching a @Numistacker grading results video where he mentioned how many counterfeit Thai coins there are. Though now I write it I'm not sure so positive. He might confirm.

I believe they are all minted by our own Royal Mint too.

@Midasfrog That link to numista is great. There are gold commems of rama 9 and rama X as well but thai coins go for a lot over melt. The older thai coins are very expensive. As for bullion coins I have not seen any and I've been to thailand many times and am a active collector of thai coins.
