The equivalent of apple pay in its time, a great looking wallet for your sovereigns.

Nowadays would be great for those SHTF scenarios where everyone is buying toilet paper for their bunkers using sovereigns as currency.

I think there was something similar posted on the forum a whole ago, I can't remember exactly but it may have been a single holder version. Thanks for posting.

I’ve seen quite a few of these for sale online. I’ve also seen pure gold ones; now those are magnificent, but way out of my budget.

A chunk of gold to hold your gold. That's perfectly excessive. 🤑 😎

You can buy these in practically every auction house, every antique centre every day. Nothing special, thousands of designs, (if you fancy becoming a collector), hundreds of makers in base metals, silver and gold.

Can be bought from £10 for brass, £30 for silver and £200 for gold.

I thought about collecting silver ones, but there was no challenge in buying them, as they were easily found.

for me its not the value, rarity, looks or metal used

i just find them very fascinating , that these where wallets in a time where sovereigns where used as currency

and not just for £££ for greedy stackers like myself these days
