They said AI would mean fewer jobs. Quite a large AI sell off today, Intel are down more than 50% year to date and are looking to halve their workforce. Apple doing OK, other techs/AI also reviewing to the downside.

Gold seems to be continuing to correlate with stocks. Cash is king looking to be the weekend preference.

Personally I think some of the AI hype bubble has popped. It was an "It'll solve everything" at first and now people are finding the markets for it. It's looking great for being a PA with regards to Microsoft Copilot for M365 applications, and some other big data analysis on PowerBI for reporting etc.. but I think even that is limited to certain roles or groups/teams in a business.
