Wow that's a decent close!

Just under £62 in the week increase (or devaluation of GBP if you prefer to look at it that way)

I thought that was a gold chart! 😂😂

Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, barter is the money of peasants, and debt is the money of slaves

Grab the US 10 year treasury yield chart for a similar period https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/DGS10/

Invert it (price and yields are inverse correlated)

and you have a very similar line chart progression. i.e. the X linked chart of Futures prices are just a natural reflection of the historic yields (interest rates, inflation etc.)

The X charts prediction of a forward time large drop off is a pure guess that 2027/2028/2029 may see rampant inflation/high interest rates rising to similar levels as per the late 1970's/early 1980's rampant inflation/high interest rates/high inflation. And yes under such conditions the price of gold will also inflate a lot. Largely however central banks have been battling to try and fend off deflation/stagnation so that prediction could just as well be wrong and interest rates might go in the other direction, back down towards zero inflation/interest rates.

Place your bets (speculate)! Or invest (diversify to hold both stocks and gold and neither be fully right or wrong, but average - and where generally a average outcome is a good outcome).

Fantastic trio to introduce to family.

Are they those three geezers from retirement home that play checkers all day long?
