Not sure why anyone wants these prices, fine if you are looking to exit gold but surely a slow and steady rise should be what the majority of this forum wants

Look what we face paying

Not sure what I've done this should have been with My previous post about keeping my average sovereign cost under the price of a bullion sovereign. Currently at £385ish for full and £189ish for the halfs.

If I took profit from coins I have sold into consideration, I am way below spot on my current stack.

I don't include that either. If I sell any thing I normally just put it all back into the collection. I don't have many graded. If I did I'm sure the average would be way higher,

I remember the first full sovereign I bought was 2011 which I sold to a forum member last year.  Bought 12 Gillicks for £2400 which were mostly sold on this forum.  It never bothers me selling as long as the money gets used to buy more gold.

I just hope that we see £370 sovereign again

We need £1,687 + tonight for the 4th consecutive record close. Currently £1,684 so it's still doable, but the line is starting to flatten out now. Still a massive rise on the last week though.

Disclosure - I work in the precious metals industry, however this is my personal account and all opinions are my own.
