Is this a series the wise stackers of the forum think is worth it?

And do you believe there is a market to flip these coins?

If you are looking to profit from them Id say they are not a good choice.  Recent mintages are way higher than the early years hence the higher prices for the early years.  I collect this set because I like it not to try and make a profit.  I have the full set and the first three coins combined cost me about £390.  The 2008 gorilla remains my single most expensive purchase for 1oz of silver by a significant margin.  They do seem to have come down a little in price but still very expensive.  You won't see massive prices from the newer coins.  If you can get the early coins cheaper then go for it.  The 2008 gorilla seems to have come down in price a little from when i first purchased but they are starting to become as rare as rocking horse shite on Ebay by the looks of it.

Yea, not looking for them to increase that much - aware of the different mintages. Going to get a few of the newer ones nonetheless. They are very beautiful pieces.

Bushbaby 2020 becoming available in PP already.

@ChrisF, collecting any similar coins? (I like your taste). What do you think of the new SA Big Five series?

I like the big 5 series but I didn't get it as I'm "collecting" too much at the moment as it is, I'm trying to scale back. The only thing similar to that I have is the Congo Gorilla series which is nice.
