Chinese GOLD Panda coin, travel to shanghai

Hi 

My friend is flying to Shanghai next month, I want to ask her to try to buy a Chinese Gold Panda coin for me, hopefully getting a cheaper price cutting out middle man.

Has anyone done this directly, if so, Can you recommend a trustworthy shop/seller please ?

 

i've started my sovereign stacking for future investment but thought the chinese panda would be good for my collection.

One of my favourite world coins is the beautiful Chinese Panda. However, you need to to be especially careful when buying direct from China because of Chinese counterfeits unless you know a trusted dealer there. The best person on the Silver Forum to recommend you a trusted dealer over there is, of course, @Agpanda. It’s also worthwhile investing in the latest edition of Peter Anthony’s “Gold & Silver Panda Coin Buyer’s Guide” which is the Panda book equivalent of Michael Marsh’s “”The Gold Sovereign” for sovereign investors/collectors.
