Hi I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. My question is, has anybody purchased silver via Ebay from the Silver team?

Yes, but I have a couple off trusted dealers.

Have you got a link to their ebay account, just tried to search but nothing came up.

I would be very wary of a seller with feedback like his , most of his small amount of feedback is obviously not actually for sales just takes to get some reciprocal feedback , 1p items that don't even say what it is he is selling .

He's only been a member for a couple of weeks.

That should set some major alarm bells ringing , even if you do get a coin through the post I would do every test on it possible as I would have have serious doubts about it being genuine

Oh well lessons learned. I think the main one is, red wine and Ebay don't mix. The other is find a reputable dealer so would like some advice there. I am looking to start saving 1oz silver coins. I started collecting British campaign medals some years ago. I then started with silver crowns mainly victorian and now feel the need to stack some silver. Thank to all who replied and for the welcome.

Yeah very relieved. I'm finding out there are lots of pitfalls with silver. I have more confidence in buying British campaign medals and sovereigns. To be honest I find the premiums you pay on top of spot price including vat are very high.
