Most Memorable Postings of 2018 🎉

Kind of noticed that @jonrms and @5huggy have been going a little stir crazy...

So thought that maybe kicking off a thread for folks to comment on their most favorite or memorable postings or topics of 2018 may help get us all into the new year.

Couple items come to mind to help prime the pump...

1) The obscure “Star Wars” privy 1/4 oz gold Queen’s Beast Falcon of the Plantagenets. 

2) @mr-dead‘s stack that rivaled (or it probably was) that of Venezuela’s entire gold reserve.

Just before i saw this thread i was recalling the thread posted by MrGeorge where he appeared to be asking for advice on investing in the S&P index.

What it turned out was he has already decided to invest. Members were suggesting, imploring him to show caution and not to invest in the S&P at this stage of the investment cycle. This all got very heated.

I have send back the first one though it’s dirt but look under the loupe it’s not , it looks like over print 

same position same marks

Some plonker said gold would be closer to £1000 than £900 at end of year.    Gone up the 10% since to £1000+. (I’m the plonker now!!!). Should have caught up the series then
