I've been told that the design will be the white cliffs of dover with a bunch of drunk people pulling moonies standing on the edge with the rest of Britain up in flames in the background... think that will really work well on a coin.

"Treasury sources told the newspaper that the department has been working on plans for the coin in secret for months." - months of work and they have no design just the words "Friendship with all nations". The Treasury seems to be putting the same effort in here as the government is in trying to sort out a deal! 😂

Nothing about it in the latest coin proclamations in the gazette

Only coins mentions were gold, silver and £5 "Tower of London" designs and £2 Wedgewood vase 1759-2019 designs!

I'm excited to see and own a legit Brexit coin. Might even get one in gold if it's not far off spot, but that seems unlikely. Silver may have to do.

While the design isnt stunning, i have a sneaky feeling this might be a winner depending on mintage of course. Whilst i am on the fence on the brexit thing (voted to remain but it was 50/50 and can appreciate both sides) i think this coin would do well. I think a silver proof version could go for quite a bit in the future.

My brother sent me this and as he said hope they do come up with a good design in the end as we had a good design on entering so why not when leaving

Yes a middle finger is good. Will be appropriate when May sails us down the river and keeps us in the EU. 

Millions of middle fingers entering circulation post chequers Brexit. Mintage of 17 million or so should do it.
