closed Rwanda Wildlife 2008 - 2018 set

Hello all,

I am a new collector and i have done some research on the Rwanda Wildlife set. I love these and i would like to start my collection with this set. If any have some for sale, or can point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. 

(I am only interested in the official sealed coins, not the ones in cases.)

They are great looking coins Janne , good luck finding the earlier ones at a decent price , I think the first few years were only 5k mintage then rose to 10k , so I'd imagine they are pretty sparse and carry a decent premium

When starting stacking silver (3 months ago) I decided to get into this series and have purchased

5x  2013 1 oz Silver Rwanda Cheetah
5x  2014 1 oz Silver Rwanda Antelope
5x  2015 1 oz Silver Rwanda Buffalo
5x  2016 1 oz Silver Rwanda Meerkat
2x  2017 1 oz Silver Rwanda Hippo
5x  2018 1 oz Silver Rwanda Giraffe

But I had no idea of the premiums built up for the earlier coins (should investigated in hindsight).

I will purchase 3x more 2017 1 oz Silver Rwanda Hippo and may purchase 2011 Zebra and 2012 Rhinos but 2008 Gorillas / 2009 Elephants / 2010 Lions way over priced to backdate the series.

What are peoples thoughts on the Rwanda series? Will it have the same success as the wildlife series?

I tried and source a nice 2008 Gorilla, but prices are all over the place ranging from 275GBP to 350GBP. Many out there in a capsule, not many about in their original sleeve. I guess i'll start with the wildlife series for now.

Found the cheapest place to backdate the 1 oz SILVER RWANDA RHINO 2012 this weekend from a German coin dealer

Purchased 5x of these cost 266 euros

I will continue to purchase 5x coins every year in the series but I will not be backdating any further than 1 oz SILVER RWANDA RHINO 2012 because premiums stupid money.
