Queen`s 80 birthday gold coin with diamond

Hi guys.

i would have a change to buy this coin for gold spot price

I have never seen the coin. It has quite limited mintage of 500 coins and also has a diamond engraved on it. It weights 40 grams and has 1.18 troy oz of gold in it.

Is the spot price a fair price for this coin or does it command any premium? I am just wondering should I buy this or save my money for other coins

If you can buy it at spot that seem to good to be true. You would get the diamond for free.

I would expect a premium on it, but not sure whether it would be worth it.

Well I am not sure is the diamond really worth a lot. But yes it is compelling offer but my own suspicion is just how easy this is to get liquidated. If the coin would be pure gold (it is 22 carat gold) it would be a no brainer for me. However I am still paying for the pure gold weight only.

Any other suggestions?

For $2500 I would rather buy a nice pre-33 U.S. gold coin, slabbed of course.
