i think so... supply is crazy low right now... even the US mint is not making the 2018 palladium bullion coin due to metal shortage... I got lucky and snagged one of the 15000 2018 proof palladium eagles before they sold out in 5 minutes and its price is almost double from what i bought it at a month ago... but... this is largely hype and the prices should come back down i imagine... so some "collector palladium coins" are a fair investment in my opinion and the bullion seems to be doing well against gold/silver...it never hurts to diversify your metal stack :)

p.s.  if this ramble doesn't make sense... you can blame Bombay Sapphire...

Oh ok, I am going to wait for a price drop then, maybe 890 an ounce.

The problem with silver is that it takes too much space since it is cheap, with 1400 you can buy 3kg (6.2lbs) of silver or an ounce of gold, so I normally buy silver after I am done buying all the others with the little money I have left, I buy silver.

First world problems.

I have old VHS tapes that take up more space.

Yes palladium has shot past gold but I wonder how easy would it be to sell palladium as compared to easily selling off gold or silver ?

Yep - Gold and silver will always be the most recognised PM's and ergo more "tradeable" under ANY circumstances

Impossible to know if a good buy or not because fundamentals matter nothing in short term, platinum does the job better than palladium in nearly all applications but the price does not reflect. It could keep going but you are chasing highs, that is prime average investor strategy. Palladium was a good buy back end of 2015.

I would say, it is WORTH it but gold should be your main focus, but why buy it now? wait for a price drop, right now you would be buying at its peak, wait for the price to be less than 1100 or at least less than 1150, at least, I am going to wait until it is less than 1100, in the mean time, I can invest in platinum and gold.

Buy high and sell low or you mean buy low and sell high?

Sorry I was having a jest. Banter. There were a lot of new investors in the crypto market at the end, and many bought high and 'hodl' all the way down before finally selling. I am comparing where palladium is now and peoples enthusiasm to that situation, fairly or unfairly we will see. ;)

Right now platinum is a bit low and it closed the week low, gold and palladium are high compared to what they were a months ago, so I am going to buy some more platinum and keep and eye on the gold and palladium.

So are you buying platinum now?  How about silver?  Do you wait for a certain number Gold-Platinum ratio before u buy?

I just look at the spot prices whenever I have some money to buy and then I buy as close as I can to the spot. For now for gold I am not buying when it is higher than 1187, for platinum I am not buy when the spot price is higher than 776 and for silver I am not buying if the spot price is higher than 14.07 and palladium i dont buy if it is higher than 1050, so I have been watching them and silver and platinum and palladium seem to be high right now for me, I think it is better to focus on platinum this week since last Friday it closed low so I am going to wait to see if the price lowers during the week, usually Tuesday to Thursday are the cheapest day to buy and Friday it is usually the highest, I have found that overall it is lowest on Tuesdays but I have found the best deals and done all my purchases on a Thursday.

I usually buy gold first if the price is right, if not or after I buy gold, I buy platinum, then palladium and then I buy silver with the bit of money I have left since it is cheap.
