Hello folks!

Recommended Posts

Hello there! I've been lurking around here for a while doing a lot of research and now that I've made a couple of posts I thought I best introduce myself. I am a Canadian living in the UK. I've been very happy to call the UK my home for the past 10 years. I used to collect various coins when I was younger. When I had my first job and was still living at home it seemed to be a great thing to do with the cash I suddenly had. As life went on I moved away from it with money being needed for rent and all the usual fun life things. I've got back in to it though this year with a focus on silver coins with the thought of wealth preservation in mind - what little wealth I can say I have ? I've mostly enjoyed picking off various eBay auctions for Canadian coins that come up - love me a good auction and especially love a dingy old voyageur dollar. I have to admit to being smitten with the large 10oz Queens Beasts coins as many of us seem to be. They are beautiful and I look forward to adding one  in to my collection.

I need to thank @BackyardBullion for my having found this place. I've enjoyed the YouTube vids which led me here and led to me being able to answer a lot of the questions I had.

Welcome dude! Wish I had used my money as a teenager to start stacking, but instead I spent it on cars and girls! Haha the god old days!
