This means that the only remaining 2017 bar is #67

Anyone wanting to give it a home can also get their hands on the same serial number for 2018 - a twin pack so to speak - the last of it's kind!

Tetris is a good word...but the adjectives change based on how many you want!

Just an update for you all

We are looking like these bars will be ready for shipping in the first week of September.

So, if you have responded and reserved a bar expect a message to ask for payment in the next few weeks.

Anyone looking to take advantage of some free and discounted shipping can do so by joining the group order too! Both are going to be ready about the same time - Mrs BYB and I are really looking forward to packaging up 100 parcels in 2 weeks....not joking, 100 parcels is a lot...

I went to the Edinburgh Assay Office to drop these bars off for Hallmarking a week ago. 

I was fortunate enough to do an interview with the Assay Master. Here is Part 1 of 3!

If you did not get a message and have already reserved a bar just let me know as the forum has been reset to Sunday night. 

Incidentally - if you were looking for any better reason to support the forum then this is it - the forum is constantly growing and the pressures that go along with this will also grow. 

Buying these bars will help support the forum and keep things running as smoothly as possible!

Were you able to find consecutive numbers for the bars I ordered? I've been looking for the list of available No's since the 26th, but haven't seen one. If consecutive ones are not available, perhaps there would be 2 that would mean something to me, or tickle my fancy (it hasn't been tickled for years). 😃

Here is a quick update for you all

I was up in Edinburgh earlier this week and collected all 150 of the 100g Silver Forum bars. 

I was also very lucky to be able to put my sponsors mark on bar number 150 (which will be raffled off for charity later this year).

It really was a pretty awesome experience to sit with the "Master Marker" who has been marking precious metal for longer than I have been alive......

Video on this coming out on Saturday!

This means that the bars are nearly done!

I have got to do a final clean and polish on them in the next few days, then photograph each and every bar for the photo database and film them out on the table all in one place. 

That means we will be able to get these in the post early next week. People who have ordered as part of the group order, these will be combined hopefully the week after next.

So, if you would like any additional bars or if you have been on the fence and have decided to take up some bars then please let me know here or via PM.

All remaining serial numbers are up for grabs and I will get a list of all available numbers out in the near future but here are some of the interesting numbers that nobody has taken up yet:

Although I did not buy here, last time I bought silver bars, it was discovered after testing they were nickle filled and had no certification. How do we avoid this?

These bars are hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, they test the bars and guarantee the purity. Literally 0% chance of fakes from me
