I bet you could get one of those machines from a shoe repair shop reconditioned quite cheap. Think that might help?

My BYB bars are - not these.

It literally takes 10 minutes per bar to antique and polish them - that is about 33 hours extra work!

Whilst I love to go the extra mile - that is a big time commitment

You use a chemical called Liver of Sulphur which oxidises the silver to turn it black. 

You can then use polish to clean the raised areas leaving the indented detail to stand out nicely. Here is the difference between two pirate rounds. 

The effect works really well on lettering and text on bars

For those of you who just simply cannot wait until Wednesday or Thursday to see your bars I have just completed my photo database/portfolio of all of these bars. 

As with all my products every single bar is unique and different and as such I think it is a great addition the the series to have a photo database for each bar. 

You can verify the bar you have is real by matching it with the photo in my portfolio. If ever you see one up for sale in the future you can cross check it here!
