Silver marks

Hi, guys and girls I was looking for some information on the hall marks pictured, if any one was kind enough to share there knowledge with me. It comes from a salt and pepper pot and mustard pot

I think the crown and lion mean it's from Sheffield, but that's all I can help you with

The last symbol on the right is the year, I found this seems to be similar to 1840 mark, so maybe that's the date?  Double check though

I think the year is 1973. It's an F that looks like an E. Maybe because the hallmark for 1773 is a very similar looking E and E and F are similar do it's like a tribute date mark (the F of 1973 does not match in style the rest of that run of marks)

It's unlikely that you would get a 925 mark on old silver and the style looks modern to me. Can't really see the smaller marks from the photo. Is that an REE?

O, and the makers mark is probably an RIJ for Royal Irish Silver co

I think it's going to be melt value on this type of thing unless it's a well known maker or over 200 yrs old
