A tremendous “Thank you!” to @ZGrizzlyWord for this beautiful 2016-W 1/2 oz Gold Walking Liberty Half Dollar Centennial. I have been looking at this since since I read one of the recent articles in “Coin World” concerning the US Mint wasn’t authorized to Mint this coin as a commemorative.

Also, from @Lr103, I received a 2010 Gold Sovereign Proof at a great price! @Lr103 has some really great coins and is awesome to work with!

Lastly, had a silver pick up with some 100x 1 gram Silver Bar - Valcambi Silver CombiBar™ (w/Assay)...never know when you may need to pay someone with a pinch o’ silver!

@CadmiumGreen  That 1/2 oz Walking Liberty is gorgeous.  Do yourself a favor and try to pick up the 1/10 Mercury dime  and the 1/4 Standing Liberty quarter.  The three together make a beautiful set.  I love mine.  I think the U.S. Mint hit a home run in celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the release of these 3 beautiful coins in 1916.

Agreed. It’s a beautiful set. Just wish I had picked them up too!

Most of this was acquired before the original March 29^th exit date from the EU. So, pretty good timing … with the benefit of hindsight.

Anyway … as of now, 76 more days (at least) to add to the pile!

Consequences? … Urgent trip to B&Q required, to buy more robust cutting tools for the ‘great unboxing’ that lies ahead!
