Not really, two nice enough half sovs (I assume). The 1897 has quite a nasty mark near the date, it almost looks as though it might be a planchet fault. The 1914 has a lovely obverse but let down slightly by the reverse.

A big thanks to @morezone for this beauty. I kick myself for not buying  before brexit ?. A few times I had them in my cart but just didn't press the confirm button ??. I didn't realise they had so much detail and if any coin deserves a proof version it is this one.

 

Also another Canadian silver proof dollar to my collection ?.

Pretty good for the RCM, and that portrait of Betty is brilliant compared to their usual pathetic attempt.

Arrived a day early, so nice surprise waiting for me on my desk when i got home. . My 1998 silver britannia, the first bullion year of release. I think they began the series in 97 but released a proof version the first year. That's another year off my list, 3 more to go to complete the run.

I'm really like the 2oz high reliefs coming out of provident. very tempted to go for the Egyptian series as well
