Bit of silver came in yesterday. Thanks to @AsedIqbalfor the refined bars. 10 kilo of melt here plus a random 2.2kilo copper bar just because it's chunky and some silver blanks that will be used for golf markers once I've designed them  😂

@James32 wouldn't be hoovering the 2016 doubles up there's non out there anyone who has one is a collector & collector's are notoriously attached to their coins.

Collected these from a local auction. Not bought any silver for a while so this was nice. Seven 1oz coins/rounds @ around £28 each. Very happy with that as most are bordering on premium items due to their dates etc. The last example took some identifying as it isn't on Numista. It's a Danbury Mint item, and is still available on their site at fifty quid (with 50% off!). Credit where credit is due though, it IS very nicely stamped, to my eyes being up to a Royal Mint proof.

Today just some silver coins.

First a few ye olde silver coins from Victoria's reign. Thanks to @NumisNewbie and a special shout-out to the wonderful incompetent royal mail who hung onto these coins for ~10 days.

Aye definitely the key coin & most expensive of the doubles that's for sure but my favourite design of the special reverse is the platinum jubilee, simple but stunning design.

True, more of a memorial sovereign guy myself, but the James Butler portrait on that 2016 is something special.

Great delivery post holiday. Gold chain, St Bees silver (esp love the arrowhead), Riverbank silver Panther in a tree (epic), 2016 Double Sov, 2002 Sov and half, Vic shield halves and a few quarters for the tin! Thanks to all the sellers 👍🏼

Thanks for the comment, I’ll have to look into all the different types of heads and places they were made. Gold is something I’m just starting to get into.

Keep an eye on Atkinsons, they quite often have pre owned stock at very reasonable prices.

Thank you 🙏. I have had silver from them but missed chance the other day on after I saw they had some in. Damm work. Tavex in same position. Looking forward to seeing the 2024 one from@QuantumStacker and seeing others on the forum when I have spare cash.
