This also arrived and I love it. It is an 1866 1/4 gold dollar minted in San Francisco.

A 1/4 dollar, didn't know that they existed. What can you buy for 25c in fiat today eh? How much fine gold does this have NS? Nice coin in its own right.

It's a BG708 and it's so tiny it's a miracle it exists. There are thought to be 90 survivors.

1/4 Sovereign for my fractional collection.  The relief is non-existent.  Think 2012.  They may as well have drawn it on.

Pic taken with Sov for comparison.  Came mint sealed and I'm undecided whether to open it up to put in a capsule to store with the others or just leave it as it is and be the odd ball.

Does she Sir, does she?

Does she look at you with those big beautiful eyes and say OOH! SUITS YOU SIR!

Absolutely gorgeous but may as well be wearing a chastity belt :P you'll never touch her, never fondle her...never put your hand in your pocket and feel the smoothness of...oops!

Sticky Vicky or a Mexican babe for me, every time! (But don't mention my recent perverse interest in Krugerrands...)

A penchant for classy babes eh?

Not a 10 shilling knee tremble in a Victorian back alley like me and Dave?

Make sure you use protection Numi. Cotton gloves and plastic sheaths are the order of the day.

There are 55 of these thought to have survived. PCGS and NGC pops are tiny

Question regarding the prices of these coins. Ngc valuations are in the $1000s. I'm assuming you are not paying any where near those prices
