The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I do try and I have substantially more gold than silver in monetary terms.

I also find that if you're stuck in the pauper bracket in gold circles, it's really only half/full sovs available if you want to buy something with little to no premium and something that can easily be moved on.

I'm the same. Smallest gold I had until recently was full sovs. Rest was 1oz coins and bars. I picked up an ounce in 1/10th brits (post 2021) recently in the proper RM caps and was pleasantly surprised. The caps make the coins look bigger and magnify the details somewhat. I'll maybe get another ounce in fractional and then I'll go back to larger pieces. It's worthwhile covering the fractional aspect as that seems to be where the market is trending. Very liquid and if gold ever does moon, those who don't already own it won't be able to afford 1oz

I love the look of 1oz gold coins but when it comes to sell people seem to put them for spot and still have a hard time selling them, such a big amount of money at one time ( well for most of us)😂

Can't believe your royal mail man/non man hasn't cottoned onto what's in all these packages.

Few years ago I bought a sealed 25x 1kg silver metalor bars box... The UPS guy asked me if I had bought bars of gold due to the weight and small size of the package and I straight up replied with "no they're silver!" and we laughed... I think he thought I was kidding but I wasn't :) Glad I've moved since then otherwise it'd been potentialy risky in case he reads this post someday :D:lol:

Always shipping with re-used or biodegradable packaging.

You're right. Bare hands would tarnish the silver. Should have mentioned gloves.

I dare to find you a pair that fits @stefffana no manufacturer in the world can make them

I can think of 2 reasons why you like the design so much 😉🤭. They are really nice coins, would like a set one day too! Are you going to display one set and put the other away?

You know why you can’t trust atoms?
