@MickB Are you happy to share what you paid out of curiosity? I understand if you'd rather not disclose. Time to time, I've found RM looked competitive on their pricing of the 1/10 oz Brits, compared to dealers.

I saw from a distance what I thought was a Sovereign for £360 in a local shop... turned out to be an extortionate Edward half sovereign!

£195 which I thought was a good price. Usually 10 to 15 pounds more elsewhere

I must outline he is a good guy and trustworthy 

I made a mistake and posted him wrong coins to start with , so I sort him out with a return label and tenner for his trouble 

he post the item back and I dispatch the correct item the same day 

the return is original conditions so all good 

his responds was polite and friendly 

I personally believe he will be a good seller base from the return experience and how we solved this issues

Eventually picked this up. Really didn’t want to as it’s one of the ugliest Britannias ever produced in my opinion but needed it to fill gaps in the collection.

It's the first KC proof Brit. It's also to only Brit (so far) which has the date on both sides. So its a little bit significant, if not very pretty!
