Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Mine came very very quickly. Atkinsons seemed to be very much in the ball👍👍

I’ve just had the dispatch notification 🤩

I wonder which historical woman will appear on the next Atkinsons coin.

Try this, it's worked for me. Hold the slab in the vertical position as if the slab is resting on its edge. Mark the coin position with your eye and then rotate the slab, using both hands passing from one to the other, in a clockwise rotation as if rolling on its edge - do it several times. If the coin is loose enough it will roll inside the slab, slowly moving either clockwise or anti clockwise. Check the position of the coin, if it's moving further away from the desired position then rotate in the opposite direct.

Best of luck and I hope it works for you.

Epic - thank you so much for this @Booky586 😎

Am I correct that the American War of Independence finished in 1783? If so, what a fantastic coin to own 🌞

Btw, although there were appox 450k of these minted most being 8 Reales (Pieces Of Eight) only approx 50k

were of lower denominations 1/2, 1, 2 & 4 Reales mine being a 2 Reales. It's said that while most coins on the

sunken ship were lost to corrosion a few rare coins were found that still show some good details.

The COA below doesn't belong to me, along with the sunken treasure coin my COA will be coming from reputable rare coins dealer Lion & Castle Co.  I wanted to share this additional info seeing you (among others) from what I've noticed always show interest in significant world history. 🙂
