Lol, I love them. I find stacking Brits and the like a great way of saving. Easy to liquidate, but not quite as easy to spend as cash. 

1 full tube and you're in nice proof sovereign territory.

2 full tubes and youre in 3 coin proof sovereign set territory.

3 full tubes and you're in ounce of gold territory!!!

Atkinsons Bullion Boudicca turned up today. Couldn't decide which I preferred so picked up both.

Btw, although there were appox 450k of these minted most being 8 Reales (Pieces Of Eight) only approx 50k

were of lower denominations 1/2, 1, 2 & 4 Reales mine being a 2 Reales. It's said that while most coins on the

sunken ship were lost to corrosion a few rare coins were found that still show some good details.

The COA below doesn't belong to me, along with the sunken treasure coin my COA will be coming from reputable rare coins dealer Lion & Castle Co.  I wanted to share this additional info seeing you (among others) from what I've noticed always show interest in significant world history. 🙂

Not my usual kind of thing but these look good. My favourite Brittanias are the 1997 chariot ones, these reminds me of those a bit.

It wasn't planned but I'm glad I asked around and thought better spent this way than an ISA.
