Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I very much doubt it. There haven't been any new £2 coins going into circulation for a few years as it is.

Exactly my thought. Surely a Charles release soon in all denominations though. It’s be a nice choice if this was it

Aaaahhh😉

I still find it weird that you can often pick up modern PF68/PF69 moderns for under raw price, it can be a way to pick up a bargain.

The PF70s hold a huge premium as they are bought by money managers/investors. The only thing they want in their collection are 70s. It may be impossible for the human eye to tell the difference between a 69 and a 70 but it's obvious on the price tag. The 68s/69s are worthless to the investment-grade collector. They are collecting numbers on a spreadsheet, not coins

What a fantastic moustache, I was only looking at one of these coins (20 kroner I believe) in Atkinson's yesterday. The portraits are amazing but told myself I mustn't open up a whole new collecting rabbit hole for myself!
