2016 150g Panda - This will be a spare and has come in the OMP which is a bonus.  Originally supplied in sheets of 3 but most of the time suppliers cut them from the pouches so that they can be inserted into the coin slot.

Arrived from arshi. Loving the 2002 1/2 sov shieldback....goes nicely with the full shieldback 2002 and the 1911 is a good old fashioned hardworking sov.  Especially ove the coa from the coin dealer as I often visit the Tiptree Farm to buy jam and take back with me when I am in Good Ole Blighty so now I can get some jam, have a pot of tea and some scones n butter n jam and go visit a coin shop - win win

It's on my way to Maldon for the salt, fish n chips by the river estuary and a really great game pie along the high street and beyond who have facilities just outside Maldon.

I bought one shield back on the same day at around the same time as you Silverin and I have to say it was in great condition.  Still with the mint lustre which you can't really see from a picture.  Excuse the crappy pic but it was just taken using this iPad because I'm too lazy to get a camera out and bother transferring a decent picture.

Nice one @ Murph  - what year did you get ? Taking pics on the iPad is not lazy - it's real life !

An 1871, so not anything interesting apart from the fact it looks in better condition than some 2002 shield backs I've had.

Just arrived. It is just a feeling and nothing more but it just feels like the 925 sterling proof is an important one. I cannot explain it better. Maybe it is the fact that it is the first time a British monarch has ever reached 90 or the fact that it is the first time a monarch's age has been put on a coin. Or maybe I am just wrong. But it just feels like a milestone coin with each individually shaped rose representing each decade of her life. I wonder if there is a further story there ?

Re the 20 quid bu fine silver coin, I dont really like the way the coin is left exposed. Maybe one day, the rm will figure that out.

I just spoke to them to chase my replacement queens beast quarter ounce gold coin. It seems that they have not sent mine out yet due to being overwhelmed with packaging problems for the silver Queens beast coin!

Two of these rare beauties in the post today. There were 99 minted only.

Doesn't come with a capsule, which I'll have to source but David gave me the five coin holder that it was supplied in.

I opened my replacement queens beast 1/4oz tonight that has precisely the same fault as the one I sent back. Coincidence? Did they send my faulty one back or have they all got the same fault? If you have one can you take a close look?

The fault is above the L of Elizabeth
