Yep.. I was expecting quarter kangaroos but happy with the nuggets.. The phil was just a change from the regular bullion sovs

But they are kangaroos just with the word nugget written on them.

I find that confusing.

Me too

Nuggets used to have an image on them of different famous nuggets and then they changed the design to the kangaroo but still called them nuggets.. Then i think they changed the name to kangaroos

I've had a bit of luck this week.  Three separate ebay lots.  All delivered under spot.

This set below works out to about 2.872 oz  (ASW)

@silverfishvt might recognise the fifty cents.

Very happy with the nuggets in original capsules

Hello Dunes, I picked up the 2 x half nuggets, both also 1991's in original capsules. (Wasted on me as a stacker really).

Also got a half maple 1987, which takes me up to my desired stack limit.

HGM excels at bullion + 3% priced fractionals.

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

I did wonder if the nuggets were a set ... Can't fault HGM on the 3% on fractional s although they are few and far between

Today I received a 500g silver bar from Atkinsons. It's quite a satisfying weight to hold, and being pre-owned it was a decent price. Think I'll keep an eye out for more of these in future.

Maybe consider getting coin bars from Germany?  Not vat.

Have you got the 2015 one? This is a great medal and a great investment too. An annual set with 499 mintage! Compared to 8,000,000 regular Pandas. The 2015 had 299 minted for the first year only. With the market size of China this will be a great one to hold for a while.

They are actually not that popular because it's a medal.  It is minted by one of the official Mints but privately commissioned.  It took a while for the 2015 to sell out and will take a while for the 2016 to sell out to.  I would have liked to have seen the price for the 2016 come down a little with an almost double mintage.  If it sells well, expect a gradual rise in mintages.  I think it's just silver, antique and gold at the moment but it wouldn't surprise me if the decided to add copper and brass versions at a later stage.

Some YPS stuff

I think there will be lots of interest and the mintage will creep up. I saw your 2015 unboxing and I just ordered 2 of the 2016 and May grade one or both of them I don't know yet. Although it's private I think that it's great quality and if it gets an entry in the panda price book that will give it some credibility
