  1. Will there be a Charles 2022 sovereign?
  2. 1934 Denver mint Peace dollar. It has been stamped on the back in pink, I think it says Convention Visitor round the top, and Spent (something) across the middle. Anyone seen anything like that before?
  3. Sorry dude, my dollars stay with me to the grave!
  4. My first Carson City morgan dollar. First year of issue and well worn, I wonder where it has been. I am undecided whether to take it out of the holder and put it in an air tite with the rest. It sold for 10.95 at one point
  5. Well I don't want to say in case this goes to auction lol, but let's say its a lot less than £595. I hope OP isn't annoyed by this discussion, I know discussing prices in sale threads is frowned upon
  6. Collectors gonna collect. I would bid on an auction
  7. I always keep all OMP, collectors want this stuff in the future. I wish the first James Bond 1oz bar came in a card, I am sure they will do every film and that will be the odd one out lol. I still kept it in the little plastic wrap though.
  8. Absolutely do this please, so it can be documented for other collectors in years to come
  9. Haha, I accidentally posted it before I was finished
  10. A set of 1921/22/23 peace dollars. I will probably take them out of the cases tbh, not a fan. And a grubby 1927 with a die crack (?) on the back in front of the beak. I already gave a it an acetone bath, but I can see after taking a photo it still has some greenish crud that needs to come off! Only need 3 more for the simple date run, if anyone has a 1928 going I might be interested, not many seem come up on ebay UK.
  11. Oof, just looked them up, the Philadelphia mint is super low mintage. At the minute any 1928 will do lol. I always assumed the 1921 was the priciest!
  12. I have found the later ones generally much more difficult to find than the early ones. Not a single 1928 on ebay last couple of times I looked!
  13. Thanks, haven't seen that website before, I will have a look
  14. That would ruin your cereal, better keeping them separate imo
  15. Thanks, I have emailed them to check - there was no mention of it, so I just made an assumption
  16. 1927 Peace Dollar for the date run, and a 1oz James Bond bar directly from RM. Disappointingly the back is all scratched up, they have agreed to swap it but obviously I have to pay to return it, which is rather irritating!
  17. No I'm not, but I might go to the York one in July, thanks
  18. A few come up on ebay, but it's one coin which I believe has many fakes, and I dont know how to tell them apart (I don't have a real one already which would be helpful). All I could think of was ma-shops.com or getting a graded one from ebay USA, but there will be taxes, so ideally I'd like to buy one from the UK if that's possible. Does anyone have any ideas please?
  19. Nice little job lot from ebay. Two Kennedy halves (can't have too many of these), 1916/17/18 mini date run of Mercury dimes, and some proper cowboy money including another nickel trime, and some awesome little Indian head pennies. I love the giant 1c in the middle. I also found it interesting how the value changed from 1835 to 1865, the 2 cents next to it is half the size and double the face value.
  20. I knew this coin reminded me of somebody
  21. Haven't been buying for a while, but I have relapsed again lol. 1866 trime with a hole for my car keys, an extremely rare Australian 1oz Engelhard, and another superb Peace dollar for the date run.
  22. Haven't been buying much of late, but got a couple more bits for the collection. Engelhard Eagle bar and 1924 Peace
  23. I think I paid about £115 for a 1/2oz round. I get it.
