There must be massive interest from abroad to pump out so many coins in such a short period of time…..unprecedented to see so many coins released in such a short space of time even without the queen’s platinum series….!

Then I check the tracking number sent with today’s email informing me of the single coin order dispatch and it is the one they used for my December delivery which ihas already arrived ! So, I guess it is just that one coin afterall. There is no 2nd charge to my cc…..you cant make this up ! I sent them an email back saying the tracking number is for a coin (an Arms one) I have already received. It will be funny to see the response. Their open and closed orders sytem is so s**** it beggars belief. I dont blame customer services as they can only say what the s**** system tells them.

Dear oh dear, The RM really is having communication issues. I had ordered a silver 2oz single and then had communication to upgrade to the continuity set with the single order coin being cancelled. This was confirmed by email and telephone. Last December, I received the first of the two coins (Arms) and just now have just received an email telling me that the single order has been dispatched ! Sooooo, I now will have two 2oz silver Arms coins………arse….meet elbow ! I now have 2 Arms coins ! Also included in the email was the confirmation that the continuity 5oz is not being dispatched yet.

I ended up buying a cheapo c**p coin to buy with a cc and then had the option to save the cc info to prepare for the last engraver’s release so as not to waste time on the day.

Interesting question. I would deem a real collector to be someone who would only sell a coin (in their lifetime) to upgrade (or expand) his/her collection.

I am surprised flippers are selling so quickly. When the portrait comes out, those that only get a portrait will be after the arms to make a set…that will push the arms coin prices up wouldn’t you think ? But heck, what do I know ?

This times 1,000 It is a very special event and one unlikely to be seen again for centuries, if not millenia (and assuming royalty even exists in the future !) …..the very least the Royal Mint should do, out of respect for the Queen and the event, is to produce an appropriate casing and box….the very least…

Just widdling in the wind but I think the arms and portrait will go for £1,000 - 650 ungraded. PF70s as a pair will command more but regarding silver, I think the sweet spot will be the 5z or 10oz.

Christmas credit card payments due……some have over reached and will take any profit…..

The RM is handling things reasonably well. Their website is poor re closed, open orders if there are any cancellations etc…..that seems to be all.

Credit card still has the amount for 2nd continuity 2oz coin and both 5ozs on hold and ready to be taken by RM once they dispatch.

I snagged a single quartered arms, with an order number starting with E-****** I was then able to upgrade the order to a continuity one with the order ref no. 4***** As a result, the single order ref no E********* was cancelled and moved to closed order (the error being in my case that it had a dispatched notice). It hadn’t been dispatched as it had been cancelled and replaced with a continuity order ref no 4***** as mentioned earlier.

Iassume the single arms order gets cancelled due to the 1 coin policy the RM have ? If not, you have got lucky

Contacted them and the 5oz closed order which said “dispatched” was an error……confirmed still waiting for the coin to be sent…..makes sense as no money has been taken yet. They need an IT person in there to tidy up their website.

Checked my account and it said last weekend on closed orders that my 5oz had been despatched. But there was no tracking number and no money had been taken. I emailed customer services on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and have not received a single response.

Not interested in the quarter…silly markup.
