It's the price us physical stackers have to pay, I'm afraid. I could have had a paper contract in my wallet or a ledger in my backpack but transporting silver (money) across borders requires the art of concealment. It's something I had to probe deeply, indeed it's a sensitive area for many, but I got a certain amount of pleasure from it.

I think people should crunch the numbers and see what their monthly payments would be if interest rates hit 5/6% and they don't have a fixed rate mortgage.

Buying sovereigns regularly is a foolproof plan. Buying monthly perhaps not so because of postage, maybe 3 sovs a quarter? Buying sovereigns to gift to your kids is not a good idea but I've already been put in my place for that opinion.

Exactly! It's blindingly obvious, there is no faith in the government but the they give us free money so let's put up with it a little bit longer.

Are you asking for advice on how to smuggle? I usually pop a bar or two up the ol' jacksy but 300oz might be pushing it a bit? Where are you planning to go?

Give me strength... If you give poor people money, they will always be poor. If you give unemployed people money, they will always be unemployed. The only people who will do well out of this are McDonalds, Imperial Tobacco, Golden Wonder and Coca Cola.

I'm with you six, but once people held paper backed by gold. And then it wasn't, but people still believed in the paper. Fiat is backed by nothing. Bitcoin is backed by nothing, yet people believe in it! I believe in silver. We're going to need to use a hell of a lot of it in the coming decades.

First rule of gold stacking: Never buy gold unless you have an emergency fund of at least 3-6 months expenses. Otherwise, I guarantee the time to 'forcibly sell' your gold will be the worst time possible. It's weird like that. Second rule of gold stacking: Never buy gold unless you have worked out an exit strategy. Who, where, how. Lucky for you, you're here already. Put them up for sale here and you'll be alright (but learn the first two rules of stacking 😉).

Yes I did. Because the orders were taken by people who have been into coins for a few weeks. Flippers who prevented the collectors from finishing the set completely. Collectors who have spent five years building a wonderful collection and housing them in a bespoke box made by our @Alun. You make me sick.
