am I a stacker or collector of silver ? 34 oz in 6 weeks and a proper mixed bag at that , no idea what direction to take but the limited mintage coins are seeming to be more attractive at the moment.
Hope to gain more of an insight off you knowledgable folk on here .

I've just signed up to the forum after seeing it mentioned on a YouTube video.
I've been picking up Gold and Silver coins and bars over the last ten years or so but without a strategy or any idea of what I wanted to do with my purchases. At the moment I would class myself as a buyer rather than a seller, hoping to get myself educated and avoid making poor decisions when buying.

I have been watching @BackyardBullion work his magic for well over a year now and thought it was about time I gave silver pouring a go. I have a metalworking background by trade and some transferable skills to hit the ground running! Hopefully! haha This week I set up Bonnie Alba Bullion to sell what I make but this is very much in it's infancy. I will require a business membership at some point won't I @ChrisSilver? Is there a timeline on this? Anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know you all once I am settled in to the new norm. Newbie stacker from Brum. I've been watching a few gold/silver YT channels for a while but it was Backyard Bullion that introduced me to this forum. I am ashamed to say that I have bought silver on Ebay xD, but no more!
I got nowhere the amount of silver and gold I have seen from some people around here, but I am still proud of my humble stack.
I am loving all the info/posts and people I have seen so far. Looking forward to chatting about silver and gold with you all

I have been on the fence about collecting precious metals as I was unsure where to start and buy from. However after watching many of backyard bullions videos I have decided to make the leap. I hope I can bring some positivity and good business to this forum as well as just have general talks about precious metals. I have recently bought my first coin of which is a 2021 panda and it just looks stunning. I will be looking to collect some coins as pure art and also have a nice stack as a long term investment. Saying that there is something that just seems so exciting about collecting all these different types of bullion out there it almost seems endless. I wish everyone the best and cant wait to be apart of this forum.

Best advice before you buy is to know what you're stacking for, be that speculation, wealth preservation, desaster preparedness, other. Then know how you'll want to sell, aka having an exit strategy. Then buy what you can sell best in that scenario.
Coins are more popular, but go through the trade areas and the Today I received thread and get your own impression.
