1oz silver Britannia and full sovereigns as I think these are the easiest to sell.

@StackerNoob I couldn’t agree more. You see so many comments from people along the lines of... I have received all my orders and I will order again but be very careful, dont do anything that might upset them and you should be ok. Why give your business and put your money at risk by putting it in their hands if you know how they treat customers.

In my experience sovereigns sell very quickly and very close to what you can pick them up for at the time. I have found the britannia is a more difficult coin to find a buyer and you might find yourself lowering the price to liquidate, especially if your trying to sell a few.

100% go for the sovereign even if the Britannia is better value. I prefer the Britannia personally but I would rather be holding sovereigns when you need to sell.

Most of people who like the graded coins already have one in their collection I think ,with the Morden bullion, they all after 70 , I found that with the new pandas as well .

I have graded the 1/4oz lion and griffin and got ms69 on both. I have been forced to sell my collection to pay for building work but these two haven’t had any interest even though they are priced at market value plus cost of grading only.
What are people’s thoughts on grading these as I was planning on getting a complete set? Should they just be left in the capsule?

I purchased the 2005 1/2 sovereign graded by PCGS at PR69DCAM from an Australian dealer (DrakeSterling) in May 2018 for A$395. That's about 215 pounds.

My two pennies. People need to stop giving this company pass after pass after pass. You shouldn't have to stay civil just to get what is lawfully yours. I'm not saying go mental, but as a paying customer you would have every right to be insistent and ever so slightly forceful in your demands.
It worries me how many people out there who are less confident may have succumbed to their attitude of omnipotence.
I dont know what has happened to them as I also had a few decent orders from them. I had one issue that was small enough that I never bothered to highlight it.
I'm not going to go around bad mouthing them, but they should understand that the PM world can be a small one, and what goes around comes around.

You’d be surprised how much it costs to produce the box, salary for the person administering the return, provide packaging materials, salary for the person to package it up and costs to ship by Royal Mail. All to provide you with a new box for an item you picked up on the cheap 😋 £2 definetly wont cut it 😂

fiveshotdon got a reaction from JinKesef in How do you stop milk spots?
It doesn't reduce the value if your talking in terms of bullion, only how quickly it sells. Some people want perfect silver.
If the coin has numismatic value then yes value is lost when spotting occurs but it does not affect the value of the base metal.
In my experience you can try to prevent it from happening but it still happens and I cannot say if airtites or silica help as I have had coins spot regardless.

@Numistacker takes on a lot of responsibility handling the amount of coins that get sent to him and the time consuming task of communicating with members, providing advice, receiving, processing, packaging and shipping coins as well as the administration involved with sending for grading and handling issues with NGC when they have made mistakes.
It is incredibly insulting to question him passing on the dealer discount he receives for all this work, why should he pass it on? If anything he should be adding a fee!
