Received two packages today one from @BackyardBullion acting intermediary for the sale of 1 oz Gold Queens Beast Lion coin between @Bizzle and myself. BYB packaging as always excellent.

The last 1 oz Gold Lion I was after helped me to complete stack of 10.
The European Mint delivered the last shipment of 1 oz Gold Queens Beast Coins the set Bull. European Mint communication and packaging has been excellent.
My stack gold now complete until next QB 1 oz Gold release. Collected 10x of each 1 oz QB Gold coin.


Going into private non-banking related safety deposit box but it will be a real shame when I don't have them nearby to hand any longer.

I just want give credit to @silversky for all the effort/time/energy/care when sending the following packages arrived today........

Each Royal Mint box contains 25x 10 oz Coins and tube Australia 1 oz Silver Dragon bars. Completed a full set 10x 10 oz Coins Lion/Griffin/Dragon/Unicorn and Valiant.

I did a nice unboxing this weekend with a (for my standards) huge amount of silver and gold.
Gold sovereign, random year. I ended up with a nice 1902 one. Haven't read a lot about sovereigns, but I think this is a nice year to have 5 gilded silver coins: 2018 britannia, 2018 maple leaf, 2018 walking liberty, 2016 & 2017 philharmoniker 2018 Proof rectangular dragon: really cool presentation box 2018 10 oz Valiant 2019 Queens beasts falcon (also dragon and lion so I have 2 of each) 2018 Tokelau Equilibrium: looks better than expected after seeing the video review posted on here a while ago. 2018 St. Helena Spade of Guinea 2017 & 2018 Cayman Marlin: I like that they switched the coins, so with 2 of each you get to see both sides with the package intact. 2014 & 2015 Burundi proof History of Aviation: Messerschmitt & Kawasaki, nice quality boxes

When I started buying PMs started my collection with 20x 1oz Silver Marvel coins. With release new Dead Pool marvel character decided I would double the stack I have in the Marvel series and add 10 x Dead Pool coins to the stack. No shortages Marvel characters and I can easily have several hundred oz silver in this series over the next 3+ years. I want to see the Hulk next he would look awesome.

Really pleased with these, no milk spots and only a couple of tiny scratches on the Queen's cheek.
 

Start of a new side project, a date run of Proof Half Sovereigns commencing 2000 onwards.  I already have Graded 1989, 2002, 2005, 2012 & 2017 so these three a nice addition. Longer term plan to collect 1980 onward and to grade the lot. 




 

My first pre-graded gold purchase (does this make me a collector?) and a couple of snowmen.

Catch up with the 2oz & 10oz bullion Queen’s Beasts and a Royal Mint Valiant, very nice coin this one.

Got myself a wooden box from @Alun, and I really like it!
It is very nice and has a quality finish.






Side note, it should also have a Griffin in it, but last week some sh!thead at the postal service ripped open the enveloppe and nicked it.
It is fully insured, the supplier is awaiting the internal investigation at the postal service, and they will sent me a new one probably next week.
But it is still sh!t..

Finally got the 5 oz silver proof Lion to complete the current queens beasts series.

Fancied one of these for a while... so bought two. Sequential serial numbers, which is nice. 
I don't know if they'll carry much premium over the years (probably a little) but they really look the part IMHO. 
First time using silver trader website and very happy with the service. 


Appreciate anyone's thoughts on them. 

Finally arrived from atkinsons. Worth the wait, which is made slightly sweeter by the fact they are now £40 more than when I purchased these 😬

Backdated some of my Rwandan African Wildlife Silver 1 oz Silver (Rwanda Hippo 2012) Bullion Coins arrived today (ordered from Germany www.bekomunzen.de using google translate from German to English and paid via paypal) 49.90 euros per coin and 16.90 Euros delivery I wish someone told me when I started don't collect a series that has been going for years because it will cost you an arm and leg to backdate the coins . Not planning to backdate any further than the 2012 Hippo due to premiums.

Started a new series come out recently Rwanda Nautical Ounce (Santa Maria/Hms Endeavour) and premiums low so I have bought ten of them.

I must admit that I do love the Rwandan BU coins.

This months buy - purely for the weight:

I just love the lion head on these 2oz stackers. The obverse shines just as much. The 1g gold bars are quick and easy to liquidate when required. 
 

If I could would make most of my stack of these lovely Mexican silver coins. Got a fresh stack of the onzas and pesos. 

Some new silver pieces for the stack -25 2018 Silver Britannias, 20 QB 2 oz 2018 Falcons, an Emu (not as bad as i thought...), another BU  2017 Swan (love that design) - all bought when silver price was very low 😊. A 2018 1/4 ounce gold Falcon shown here - and a better one that will go for NGC grading. 
Then at auction today - some old gold bullion, nothing special: a 1905 sovereign and an 1858 shiled half sovereign.  That 1858 has the characteristic dot just above the middle cross  (not that i have been looking at Marsh like a sovereign nerd......😉😉). 

This is what I got from Atkinsons Bullion when I ordered one of their "Bullion 100g Silver Bar" mystery deals. I was hoping for a minted bar but now that I have received this cast one I think its pretty cool and well worth the £60 inclusive price.

Today I recieved, nothing for me, I ordered these for my daughter and a friend who are collecting the marvel series, I must say the detail on the Deadpool character is better in the flesh than on pictures I saw beforehand on the web.

 
Totally unrelated but I did pick up another large Carcharocles Megalodon tooth, a nice 5.5" one.
