I was wondering about this too. Call me overprotective but I don't like giving my personal address to overseas bullion dealers (especially if it were the GoldSilver.be people). So if I just put in a business address with the EU Mint for the invoices, can I just then DM you my actual delivery address like we used to with the old group orders?

One of the benefits of being a boring old sod like me is that you don't waste your time on this sort of thing. I deleted my Facebook four years ago and I don't miss it, the novelty was fine in 2008 but it wore off and became very tedious. I realised I don't actually care what anyone had for breakfast this morning, and I'm confused why they assume I'd be interested to see it!

What this does show is that the red tape has gotten people who are straight as a dot, wound up so tightly that they're worried about breathing the wrong way lest they get grief from Big Brother.

I would volunteer to take over but I'm not part of the forum furniture enough yet to justify the trust required, nor would I expect otherwise.

Yes I understood the bus advert's point too. Did anyone actually vote to leave because they believed £350m/week would be diverted to the NHS as a referendum pledge? This cross-party ad was giving an example of what to spend the money on, it wasn't a policy in an election manifesto.

If I considered stopping my Sky home subscription bundle to the chagrin of my kids, I'd argue that I could spend that £120/month on things like my kids' sports clubs, but I'm not making a manifesto policy by saying the money will be diverted to that (sorry girls). I could spend some money on their clubs, but I also could spend some on more holidays. The point is we could debate later what to do with that extra money because I would have that money saved to spend on things other than my Sky contract.

Did remainers try to refute this phantom claim at the time of the ad? I say phantom claim because it wasn't meant in the way remainers claim it meant post the referendum.

I regularly put after posts like this a disclaimer of sorts: I didn't vote in the referendum and don't have a horse in this race. I don't feel much sympathy for the post-referendum remainer arguments though.

One thing that struck me with his court hearing is that the Judge in his closing statement called Assange a narcissist. This is problematic in a few ways:
It's a subjective opinion It's an unqualified opinion It has nothing to do with law - the judge's only purpose for being there The courts allow judges to give these non-law speeches at the end of trials, and it's like a PM giving a subjective speech, in that they are for public consumption rather than an academic objective conclusion. The whole Assange episode feels like a political whitewash.

Couldn't you just show the taxman those massive group order threads? Wouldn't it then be blatantly obvious what it's really about?

Let's not start liking gs.be just because of what she said about Brexit. They are still the worst and most unprofessional bullion dealer out there. Even that comment is an unprofessional comment to make in a customer facing business email. Can you imaging an email from Natwest saying something like that?

Who knows, if we get a trade deal with the US, we'd be getting even cheaper silver. Fingers crossed.
