These 2 ladies arrived from the Irish Central Bank today.  Votes for women centenary and Proclamation of the Irish Republic centenary.  

Just can't get enough of these new gold Britannia's another two delivered today from My Gold Platform. First time I've used them, good price, good service.

My nephew has his 18th coming up - i suspected he might like this so i got it.

Royal Mint Silver Proof 2010 Piedfort Collection   While I wait patiently for the two silver BU £1 coins missing from my collection to appear in auction, I have decided to complete the set of Piedforts that I started way back in 1984.   The cheapest method of buying the four coins of the 2010/11 "Cities" set turns out to be by buying sets which include the required dates and selling off the unwanted parts. To this end I today took delivery of this very attractive set - which includes the Belfast and London specimens.   The superfluous Piedfort 50p and £2 coins have already been sold, but if you are interested in the £5 "Restoration of the Monarchy" please PM me.   I still need a further one dozen dates for a full run, so please let me know if you have any available.

I received my silver chess set from @BackyardBullion and a handmade board from BYB senior.  It’s incredible, and they truly did an amazing job. The pictures look great, but they don’t do it justice. Right down to the weights and hallmarks on every piece, the craftsmanship is awesome. This is the nicest thing made of silver that I own. Thank you!! 😊

It is time for the 2020 Christmas Prize Draw entries. Last year there were over 85 entrants I believe, you can see last years Christmas Prize Draw topic here, to have an idea as to some of the prizes. This year we are keeping the same 1oz minimum silver entry but increasing the cash value of any alternative prize that is entered, due to the increase in spot price and the value of 1oz of silver.

Anyone wanting to be entered please list your interest below, before the end of 25th November 2020 (UK time) ONLY PEOPLE WHO DONATE A PRIZE WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAW.

Everyone who enters the draws will receive a prize. And everyone who enters will need to donate a prize as per the conditions at the bottom of this post. 

Last year, each day running up to Christmas there were draws and each prize that was donated was matched up to a winner. This year as @Bullionbilly is unable to run the draws, we may decide to run them in a more simple way and release the names in batches or in one go. This has yet to be decided, but we will update this at the end of November / beginning of December. The draw(s) itself/themselves will be in December. All prizes will be assigned randomly to the winners, either by using a random number generator or using a spreadsheet program to randomly match up prizes to winners.

If you already know what the prize is that you will be entering into the draw, please feel free to post the prize below. This will help to encourage more members to join the Christmas Prize Draws and to donate good prizes   If you are unsure the prize you will be entering but know that you would like to enter you can still state your interest in joining below, to be included in the draws, and add prize details later.





Conditions of entry:

Minimum prize value of 1oz of silver or £25 GBP / $30 USD / applicable currency equivalent cash value of an alternative prize.

Members entering must hold Premium Membership. As well as Premium Membership helping to support TSF to grow, choosing to only allow Premium Members to enter also means that there is less risk of an entrant defaulting on sending their prize. Any members who enter but do not follow through on their entry risk their account status. We do not anticipate that there will be any issues this year  Feel free to purchase Premium Membership to then enter the draw below. 

As TSF is a worldwide forum, any member who enters does so under the condition that they agree to post the prize worldwide to to the winner and to cover the cost of standard world-wide shipping. It is the receivers responsibility to pay any applicable taxes and import duties etc that may be imposed by customs when receiving an international parcel.

Entry is available to any Premium Member in any country worldwide.
