Picked these two coin albums up from the post office  and was hit with 34 euro customs charge. That's pretty much what the albums are worth. Filled them up with the dates and mint marks that I had available and I am still missing some. I know both the 32's are the most expensive.

An Sydney Mint sovereign dated 1868:  However, it has a “red” tinge to the gold, so according to Marsh it is an example of a Sydney Mint sovereign minted in 1869 alloyed with 8.33% copper (the Sydney Mint 1868 “yellow” gold sovereign is alloyed with 8.33% silver).

Managed to complete all the silver coins in the Beatrix Potter series (with the 2016 gold coin) virtue of an obscure website I found online where I live that was selling this one for the equivalent of £100 delivered. I never thought they would have one still at that price but lo and behold it was delivered just now after a wait.
Completed sales go for minimum £150+ at recently, so am quite happy with that. The set is a family keeper for my kid and as she grows up, I hope the Beatrix Potter coins bring her great joy (and then she can do what she likes with them).

    Who makes them?
Are they intaglio rounds as your pics make them look like normal relief rounds?  Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks because that's what I expect to see.

I wish I had a real Akragas obol although I do like the Ephesus bees and Attic owls as well.

Satisfying my appetite for Libertads further, and doing my spreadsheet no favours at all, I managed to pick these little beauties up.
The 1992 & ‘94 sets are toning nicely in true ‘treasure coin’ fashion.
It’s going to be an effort getting off my backside to do any jobs my wife has left me to do this afternoon- even the potential wrath of an angry women might not prevent me squandering the remainder of the afternoon ogling them.

  25. Thanks
