I haven't really bought anything since splashing out on the Star Wars statuettes back in April but after a few days of contemplation I decided to pickup the Cola coins in 1oz silver and 12g gold.  They don't look as good as the 6g coloured one but they're still nice.  The premium is a bit of a killer on them though

A BIG FAT FAKE !!!!!! Bought from Ebay at a few % above spot. Be aware if you see a 1914 Half Indian on Ebay for sale again. Im giving the seller the benefit of the doubt as i received my money back and seemed genuinely sorry. If it does come up for sale again then i will release more details
If you look closely and know what to look for the 9 is way out of kilter and the stars do not align as close to the edge as they should do and inconsistent reeding around the edge. The biggest giveaway.... Half the weight it should have been. Not magnetic which makes me think it might be silver coated in gold. I haven't been bothered  to look at the back. Generally very satisfied, some notes:
Once again I had a Details grade. Unlike the previous one, which had clear hairlines once I looked more carefully, this one didn't. I may post detailed pictures elsewhere trying to get some more expert opinions. ? The Sovereign did as expected (low MS, bought as bullion). From the remaining six silver coins, five have the highest grades in the census. Three of them (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) are the only ones! ? Overall I believe I am getting better at picking them, with a minor glitch every time... ?

Just now bought the 1/4 queens beast griffin , for my unborn daughters set

Today I added a 1887 sovereign to the collection. It's got a really nice colour to it.

456 grams 999 silver round designed based on the Gothic Crown.  Bought couple of pence over spot so very happy despite a small drill hole on the edge. 

Today I bought one of Arshi's Queens beasts antique finish lions. They look impressive!

My GF loves Gucci so I set out to buy her some jewelry, ended up finding this necklace on sale £369 instead of £715 which is appears to be everywhere else
It's 18ct, no idea of weight atm, not listed anywhere, I'm sure a scandalous amount for £369

A little deviation from the Gold Sovs... two lucky dip 1950 or 1957 Saudi Arabia Gold One Guinea, AU/BU. Hoping for at least one of them being 1950!

Just won in an auction the 2006 Golden Silhouette Britannia proof set.

During the week, I bought two more gold sovs from HGM. 1906 and 1981.
I think I 've got over 50 sovs now.

Hello, today received this 2002 1/2 sovereign graded 70DCAM purchased from a dealer. Have the 2002 sovereign in for grading so if very lucky it will achieve a 70DCAM also.
