And it says he found it! I'm not sure which is the more egregious distortion of history 🤣

📣 Attention, everyone! 📣 Rumour has it that our beloved Owner, Lawrence Chard, has met some rather extraordinary fates recently. Speculations about his demise, the sale of our business (Not true), or even his intergalactic escapades have been floating around. Lawrence Chard is alive, the business is thriving, and he's very much here, working his magic behind the scenes. -

@James32 @mike1097 You are absolutely correct; that was a mistake on our part. Thank you for pointing it out. The memorial sovereign was the first bullion sovereign to feature the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III.

@mike1097 Thank you for inquiry about the gold Charles Memorial sovereigns.
1) The coins being Memorial indeed add a unique historical significance to them, as they are the first sovereigns to feature the King Charles III crowned portrait by Martin Jennings. While this portrait doesn't directly affect the intrinsic metal value of the sovereigns, it can attract collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate coins with such distinct characteristics.
2) Regarding the cost per coin, it is currently priced at around £378 plus postage at the time of writing this response.

Hi, the memorial sovereign is not the crowned potrait! The coronation has that honour.

I'm back for my 13th pint, @LawrenceChard!
https://www.chards.co.uk/malta-2010-auberge-d-italie-gold-proof-50-euro-coin/10647
The weight of the coin is 6.5g and the purity is 0.9167, so the gold content is 0.1915 troy ounces, not 0.2089. Of course, the final price is affected by this mistake.
Cheers!🤗
