Thought I'd bring this thread to a close 🙂
After months of nearly buying....thinking I bought but being told it sold out, I've finally secured my coin.
Paid £1380 posted special delivery, so with gold currently sitting at £1330 I believe that works out at a 3.7%
Feel very lucky and yes it was definitely worth the wait,thanks to all who commented or offered advice!

I understand that but what I was getting at is maybe at the time they didnt have the means to produce 24ct Gold, so left it as is at 23ct.

Just had a look at some 23ct Gold Coins. Mainly the Ducat. Am I right in saying these coins were 23ct because they didnt have the means to refine Gold to 24ct?
